The Blues got the games first power play as Ryan Poehling got called for holding just 38 seconds into the second period. They had a wide-open net on the right side but Garnet Hathaway saved a goal. They didn't capitalize on the opportunity.

Alexey Toropchenko gave the Flyers their first power play of the game as he got called for interference at the 4:54 mark of the second period. They got a few good shots on net but Binnington had all the answers.

Tyson Foerster gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead at the 12:02 mark of the third period as he collected a rebound and put it past Binnington. Binnington made the initial save on Bobby Brink but allowed a huge rebound. Brink and Cates collected assists.

Jake Neighbours tied the game up at two with 11.4 seconds left in the third period. He found a loose puck in front of the net and put it under the arm of Kolosov. Faulk picked up the only assist.

Matvei Michkov won the game for the Flyers just 28 seconds into the overtime period. Konecny saw him ahead of the play and swatted the puck to him for the breakaway. He beat Binnington's glove side to give the Flyers a 3-2 win. Konecny received the lonely assist.

The Flyers went 0 for 2 on the powerplay and 2 for 3 on the penalty kill. Their powerplay struggles continue.
