The Flyers met up with the Utah Hockey Club for the second game of a back-to-back. Their continued undisciplined play cost them another game. They would fall back to hockey .500 and miss out on two points.

The Flyers got the game's first power play at the 2:13 mark of the first period as Robert Bortuzzo got called for interference. They had a few good looks in tight and Travis Konecny rang a puck off the post.

The Hockey Club got their first power play of the game at the 11:30 mark of the first period as Travis Sanheim got called for holding. The Flyers did a good job of clearing pucks and getting into shooting lanes. The Hockey Club didn't record a single shot on net.

Sean Couturier gave the Hockey Club their second power play at the 15:43 mark of the first period as he got called for hooking. They got a few good shots on net but Ersson had all the answers.

The Hockey Club took a 1-0 lead at the 7:01 mark of the second period as Michael Carcone got a lucky bounce off the skate of Rasmus Ristolainen and past the pad of Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson. Bortuzzo was given the lonely assist.

Joel Farabee tied the game up at one for the Flyers at the 7:20 mark of the second period. Stauber made the initial save on Seeler's shot from the blueline but the puck bounced right to Farabee who batted the puck into the net past Hockey Club's goaltender Jaxson Stauber. Seeler and Konecny received assists.

Juuso Valimaki gave the Hockey Club a 2-1 lead at the 9:42 mark of the second period as he deflected Mikhail Sergachev's shot from the top of the zone past Ersson.

The Flyers tied the game up at two at the 13:34 mark of the second period as Owen Tippett's wrist shot went through the five-hole of Stauber. A nice pass by Nick Seeler set him up. Seeler and Michkov tallied assists.

Tyson Foerster gave the Hockey Club their third power play of the game at the 14:21 mark of the second period as he got called for delay of game. He played the puck over the glass without a deflection.

Jack Cooley gave the Hockey Club a 3-2 lead at the 15:30 mark of the second period on the power play. Dylan Guenther passed the puck across ice to him who then went forehand to backhand and beat Ersson over the right pad. Guenther and Keller collected assists.

The Flyers got their second powerplay of the game at the 14:01 mark of the third period as Ian Cole was called for high-sticking.

Kevin Stenlund gave the Hockey Club a 4-2 lead at the 15:43 mark of the third period while shorthanded. Jamie Drysdale dropped the puck back to Morgan Frost who overskated. Stenlund stormed to the puck and put it through the five-hole of Ersson. No assists were given.

Matvei Michkov got thrown out of the game after picking up a roughing and misconduct penalty at the 19:43 mark of the third period. Barrett Hayton also picked up a roughing penalty in the scrum.

The Flyers went 0 for 2 on the power play and 2 for 3 on the penalty kill in the game. The penalty kill continues to struggle.

Ersson, in his return, saved 21 of 25 shots which gave him a .840 save percentage.
